Plot To Kill And Castrate Justin Bieber Foiled

A convicted killer in a New Mexico jail sought to have the "Beauty and a Beat" singer killed and castrated by one of his fellow inmates, who was to carry out the murder once released.

Dana Martin, who is serving two life sentences for raping and killing a 15-year-old girl in Vermont in 2000, is reportedly obsessed with the teen idol, even having a tattoo of him on his leg.

Martin told police that he was going to have inmate Mark Staake and his nephew, Tanner Ruane, kidnap Justin and his bodyguard next month when he performs at Madison Square Garden, then strangle them with paisley ties and castrate them.

Fortunately, Martin changed his mind and ratted out his accomplice for outstanding warrants before he could go further with the plans. Ruane was arrested in New York City with "murder tools and pruning shears."

A representative for Bieber released a statement on the plot saying, "We take every precaution to protect and ensure the safety of Justin and his fans."
